We want children to grow up with a balanced view of society.

To this end we will encourage them to be proud of their social, racial or cultural origins and to respect others who come from a different background.

Everyone is welcome into our childcare setting and will be treated equally, irrespective of gender, skin colour, traditional and cultural background, family situation or disability.

Positive attitudes and images will be promoted at all times.

Children will always be praised in what they do as this helps with self esteem and confidence.

Working with Parents

We believe that a child’s parents are experts when it comes to knowing their own children. For this reason we will always work in partnership and encourage frequent dialogue with parents or main carer. This may just be a short chat at the time of collection or via a diary sent home with the child.
